Inleiding
De BIJSCHUUR bij de Oldambtster boerderij is in het derde kwart van de vorige eeuw in het vm. agrarische dorp Kooten in een ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwstijl gerealiseerd. Deze kleine koestal staat achter de boerderij aan de noord-oostzijde. Het muurwerk is wegens een verzakking hersteld.
Omschrijving
De schuur is opgetrokken in rode Groninger bakstenen onder schilddak met rietdekking. In de zijgevels ijzeren getoogde stalramen; in de korte westgevel een roosvenster.
Waardering
De kleine koestalbij de Oldambtster boerderij welke rond 1870 in Kootstertille is gerealiseerd, is van belang:
- vanwege de funktioneel-ruimtelijke relatie met de boerderij,
- als essentieel onderdeel van het ruimtelijk gave complex,
- vanwege de redelijke mate van architectonische gaafheid van het exterieur.

Introduction
The OUTBUILDING at the Oldambtster farmhouse was realised in the third quarter of the previous century in the former agricultural village of Kooten in a craft-traditional building style. This small cow shed stands behind the farmhouse on the north-east side. The brickwork was repaired due to subsidence.
Description
The shed is built in red Groningen bricks under hipped roof with thatch covering. In the side facades iron arched stable windows; in the short west facade a round window.
Valuation
The small cow shed at the Oldambtster farmhouse which was realised around 1870 in Kootstertille, is of significance:
- because of the functional-spatial relationship with the farmhouse,
- as an essential component of the spatially intact complex,
- because of the reasonable degree of architectural integrity of the exterior.
