Inleiding
In 1882 gebouwde STOLPBOERDERIJ van het afgeleide Noordhollandse type. De boerderij ligt aan de westzijde van de Dorpsstraat, in de oude dorpskern van Dirkshorn.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekig grondplan gebouwde stolpboerderij welke wordt gedekt door een schilddak (stolpdak) met noklijn haaks op de weg. Het dak is gedekt met riet. De onderste regels van het dak zijn bedekt met grijze en rode Hollandse pannen.
De inwendige houten draagconstructie van de boerderij bestaat uit een dubbel vierkant.Aan de oostzijde van het dubbel vierkant bevinden zich over de volle breedte van de boerderij de woonvertrekken. Aan de noordzijde van het dubbel vierkant ligt de koestal en aan de westzijdee de korte regel. Ten zuiden van het dubbel vierkant bevindt zich de dars. Koestal en dars lopen in de plattegrond parallel aan elkaar en staan beide haaks op de woonvertrekken (afgeleid Noordhollands type).
De boerderij is opgetrokken in rode baksteen.
De voorgevel (O), waarachter zich de woonvertrekken bevinden, bezit in totaal vijf houten (in oorsprong) T-schuifvensters met gebogen bovendorpel. Links en in het midden van de voorgevel zijn deze schuifvensters twee aan twee gelegen. Uiterst rechts ligt één schuifvenster. Links hiervan bevindt zich de houten voordeur met glazen bovenlicht. Alle vensters in de voorgevel bezitten ter weerszijden gedecoreerde houten zonnerakken. Boven het midden van de voorgevel bevindt zich in het dak een grote bakstenen dakkapel. Deze dakkapel onder ingestoken zadeldak is bedekt met Hollandse pannen en omvat een dubbele openslaande houten deur met glazen vensters. Het dak van de dakkapel wordt afgesloten door een rijk gesneden houten sierlijst. Links van de voordeur bevindt zich in de voorgevel een hardstenen gedenksteen met de tekst: "DE EERSTE STEEN GELEGD DOOR L. DOEKES KLz. OP DEN 16 MAART 1882".
Achter de noordelijke zijgevel bevindt zich aan de oostzijde het woongedeelte van de boerderij. Ter hoogte van dit woongedeelte bevinden zich in de noordgevel een houten schuifvenster met rechte bovendorpel en een klein rechthoekig houten venster. Achter het westelijk gedeelte van de noordgevel ligt de koestal. Hier bevinden zich zes houten koestalvensters. In de achtergevel van de boerderij (W) bevindt zich aan de zuidzijde, enigszins teruggelegen, de dubbele houten darsdeur. De achtergevel bezit voorts aan de linkerzijde een houten koestalvenster met rechts daarvan een houten deur met bovenlicht. Rechts van deze deur bevinden zich een drietal houten vensters, verschillend van type en formaat.
In de zuidgevel, waarachter de dars ligt, bevinden zich enkele houten vensters, verschillend van type en formaat.
Waardering
De stolpboerderij is van algemeen belang uit cultuurhistorisch en architectuurhistorisch oogpunt als zijnde een uit 1882 daterend en grotendeels gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van traditionele landelijke bouwkunst welke specifiek is voor Noord-Holland. Daarnaast is het object van belang vanwege de beeldbepalende ligging in de oude dorpskern van Dirkshorn.

Farmhouse (stolpboerderij) built on a rectangular ground plan which is covered by a hipped roof (stolpdak) with ridge line perpendicular to the road. The roof is clad with thatch. The bottom courses of the roof are covered with grey and red Dutch tiles.
The internal wooden load-bearing structure of the farmhouse consists of a double square. On the east side of the double square are located across the full width of the farmhouse the living quarters. On the north side of the double square lies the cow shed and on the west side the short section. To the south of the double square is the threshing floor. Cow shed and threshing floor run parallel to each other in the ground plan and both stand at right angles to the living quarters (derived North Holland type).
The farmhouse is constructed in red brick.
The front facade (E), behind which are the living quarters, has in total five wooden (originally) T-sash windows with curved upper door frame. On the left and in the middle of the front facade these sash windows are located two by two. At the far right lies one sash window. To the left of this is the wooden front door with glazed fanlight. All windows in the front facade have decorated wooden awnings on both sides. Above the middle of the front facade is in the roof a large brick dormer. This dormer with inset gabled roof is covered with Dutch tiles and comprises a double opening wooden door with glazed windows. The roof of the dormer is closed by a richly carved wooden ornamental cornice. To the left of the front door is in the front facade a stone commemorative plaque with the text: "THE FIRST STONE LAID BY L. DOEKES KLz. ON 16 MARCH 1882".
Behind the northern side facade, on the east side, is the residential section of the farmhouse. At the level of this residential section are in the north facade a wooden sash window with straight upper door frame and a small rectangular wooden window. Behind the western section of the north facade lies the cow shed. Here are six wooden cow shed windows. In the back facade of the farmhouse (W) is on the south side, somewhat set back, the double wooden threshing floor door.
