Omschrijving onderdeel 18
In rustieke trant opgetrokken PRIEEL, in oorsprong uit circa 1856 naar ontwerp van C. Eggink, gesitueerd aan de zuidzijde van het park met uitzicht over de zich vertakkende waterpartij en het beschaduwde hertenkamp en met doorzicht naar villa Dordwijk.
Het prieel heeft een gebogen achterwand van verticale dennestammetjes en een licht geknikt lessenaarsdak met muizetandrand, dat wordt ondersteund door rondhouten staanders, deels met zijtakken. De achterzijde van het dak is afgerond.
Aan de hertenkampzijde wordt het prieel door een rustieke open borstwering van takken en boomstammetjes afgesloten. Het dak van het prieel is aan de binnenzijde met halve boomstammetjes bekleed en wordt bij de knik over de hele lengte ondersteund door bundelsgewijs aaneengevoegde boomstammetjes.
Tegen de achterwand een gebogen zitbank van houten delen.
Thans is het dak met bitumen bekleed.

Built in rustic style PAVILION, originally from circa 1856 to a design by C. Eggink, situated on the south side of the park with a view over the branching water feature and the shaded deer enclosure and with a vista towards villa Dordwijk.
The pavilion has a curved rear wall of vertical pine logs and a slightly angled sloping roof with mouse-teeth edging, which is supported by round-timber posts, some with side branches. The rear side of the roof is rounded.
On the deer enclosure side the pavilion is closed off by a rustic open parapet of branches and tree logs. The roof of the pavilion is clad on the inside with half tree logs and is supported at the angle along its entire length by bundles of tree logs joined together.
Against the rear wall a curved wooden bench.
Currently the roof is clad with bitumen.
