BRUG naar het Nieuwe Werk. Vlakke brug op de grondslag van een paralellogram, steunend op houten balken em met gecementeerde bakstenen landhoofden. De brug heeft hardstenen profiellijsten aan weerszijden van het van klinkers voorziene brugdek en vernieuwde ijzeren handlijsten. De brug verbindt het door Zocher omstreeks 1852 aangelegde park met de door C. Eggink in 1860 ontworpen zuidwaartse uitbreiding hiervan (het Nieuwe Werk).

BRIDGE to the Nieuwe Werk. Flat bridge on the ground plan of a parallelogram, resting on wooden beams and with cemented brick abutments. The bridge has hardstone mouldings on either side of the bridge deck provided with clinkers and renewed iron handrails. The bridge connects the park laid out by Zocher around 1852 with the southward extension of it designed by C. Eggink in 1860 (the Nieuwe Werk).
