Inleiding
Vrijstaande recreatiewoning, genaamd "Parnassia", deel uitmakend van een rond 1933 gebouwd complexje dat het begin inluidde van de ontwikkeling van dit duinrandgebied tot familierecreatie gebied. De woning werd in 1932 gebouwd in opdracht van Nic. Beye uit Renesse en ontworpen door J. Oudkerk.
Omschrijving
De verdiepingloze recreatiewoning "Parnassia", gebouwd in een zakelijke Interbellumstijl, bezit een eenvoudige plattegrond. De geheel door een veranda omgeven woning bezit gepleisterde gevels op een wit geverfde bakstenen plint. Het ver overstekende tentdak, met strakke lijst en gedekt met rode sternberger pannen, wordt ondersteund door vierkante, gemetselde kolommen. Aan achterzijde entree-uitbouwtje onder afdak. Kleine dakkapel op achterdakvlak. Houten kozijnen met draairamen deels met horizontale roeden, aan voorgevel en rechter zijgevel met luiken behangen.
Door de veranda wijkt deze woning af van de overige, tot het complex behorende typen.

Description
The single-storey recreational dwelling "Parnassia", built in a businesslike Interwar style, has a simple floor plan. The dwelling, entirely surrounded by a veranda, has rendered facades on a white-painted brick plinth. The far-projecting tent roof, with sleek cornice and covered with red sternberger pantiles, is supported by square, mortared columns. At rear side entrance extension under canopy. Small roof dormer on rear roof slope. Wooden window frames with casement windows partly with horizontal glazing bars, on front facade and right gable wall with shutters hung.
Through the veranda this dwelling differs from the other types belonging to the complex.
