Circa 33 meter lange spoorbrug over de Bossche Sloot, "Venkantbrug", voor zover gelegen op het grondgebied van de gemeente Heusden, in 1886 gebouwd als onderdeel van de Langstraatspoorweg.
Omschrijving
De geklonken, ijzeren vakwerk- spoorbrug bestaat uit twee identieke secties met een lengte van 16.20 meter, rust in het midden op een massief gemetselde bakstenen pijler waarop een dekplaat in gewapend beton en heeft twee gemetselde landhoofden in baksteen en natuursteen. Ofschoon de constructie vanouds de mogelijkheid voor dubbelspoor biedt, werd slechts een spoor uitgevoerd.
Waardering
De spoorbrug heeft spoorweg-historische betekenis en bezit bouwhistorische en industrieel-archeologische waarden als vitaal onderdeel van de voormalige Langstraatspoorweg die, aangelegd in de periode 1875-1890, in 1972 buiten bedrijf is gesteld.

The riveted, iron lattice railway bridge consists of two identical sections with a length of 16.20 meter, rests in the middle on a solid masonry brick pier on which sits a reinforced concrete cover plate and has two masonry abutments in brick and natural stone. Although the structure originally offered the possibility for double track, only a single track was laid.
Valuation
The railway bridge has railway-historical significance and possesses architectural and industrial-archaeological values as a vital component of the former Langstraatspoorweg which, laid in the period 1875-1890, was taken out of service in 1972.
Historical-geographical significance as well as experiential and commemorative values are embodied in the landscape clearly recognizable, raised-positioned course of the old railway line in which, as a remnant of a vanished vital east-west connection with social, infrastructural and industrial implications, the bridge forms a rare expression of an important period in history.
