Introduction TOWNHOUSE WITH WOODEN GANGWAY GATE, situated in the virtually enclosed northern facade of the Heresingel, built in 1882 at the behest of J.P. The recessed entrance section with sculptured double door with semicircular fanlight is flanked by heavy pilasters with Corinthian capitals on heavy bases and encompassed by a frame, which rests on Doric pilasters. This section is roofed over with a balcony on wavy consoles. The glazed doors behind the balcony received the same decorative scheme as the entrance section. In the middle the facade is crowned by a roof pavilion with pilasters beside the two coupled windows with jambs. The roof pavilion is crowned by a tympanum.
