Inleiding VILLA, vrijstaand gesitueerd en omringd door een grote, deels tot parkeerplaats ingerichte tuin, gebouwd in circa 1900 in een voor de eeuwwisseling karakteristieke villabouwstijl met elementen van de Chalet-stijl. De latere aanbouwen aan de achtergevel zijn van ondergeschikt belang evenals de in 1992 aangebrachte stalling annex opslagruimte. Het gebouw is sinds 1967 in gebruik als kantoor en daartoe inwendig aangepast. In het trappenhuis bevindt zich een oorspronkelijk glas-in-loodvenster. Omschrijving Het gebouw is opgetrokken op een in hoofdvorm rechthoekige plattegrond en telt twee bouwlagen en een zolderverdieping onder een schilddak met korte wolfseinden, bekleed met rode singles. Boven een trasraam van roodbruine baksteen zijn alle gevels witgepleisterd. De gevels zijn asymmetrisch van opzet en hebben vensters die afwisselend rechtgesloten en segmentboogvormig gesloten zijn met glas-in-lood in de bovenlichten. De voorgevel heeft op de begane grond brede driedelige vensters met glas-in-lood. Het vooruitspringende hoekrisaliet heeft een topgevel en een kap met houten topgevelbeschieting in fors overstek die rust op vier houten stijlen. Op de verdieping over de volle breedte een balkon met houten balkonhek. De ingang bevindt zich in de noordgevel; aan de zuidgevel is een rechthoekige serre met gepotdekseld balkon aangebracht onder een houten kap met overstek en houten topgevelbeschieting. Description
Introduction VILLA, freestanding situated and surrounded by a large garden, partly converted to a car park, built circa 1900 in a villa building style characteristic of the turn of the century with elements of the Chalet style. The later extensions to the rear facade are of secondary importance as is the stabling and storage space added in 1992. The building has been in use as an office since 1967 and has been internally adapted for this purpose. In the stairwell there is an original leaded glass window. Description The building is constructed on a rectangular ground plan in main form and comprises two storeys and an attic floor under a hipped roof with short half-hipped ends, covered with red shingles. Above a band course of red-brown brick all facades are rendered white. The facades are asymmetrically arranged and have windows that alternate between straight-headed and segmental arch-headed with leaded glass in the fanlights. The front facade has wide three-part windows with leaded glass on the ground floor. The projecting corner risalit has a gable and a roof with wooden gable cladding in substantial overhang which rests on four wooden uprights. On the upper floor over the full width a balcony with wooden balcony railings. The entrance is located in the north facade; to the south facade a rectangular conservatory with copper-covered balcony has been added beneath a wooden roof with overhang and wooden gable cladding.
