Inleiding VILLA, genaamd 'Sonnevanck', vrijstaand gesitueerd en omringd door een grote, deels tot parkeerplaats ingerichte tuin met oude beukebomen, gebouwd in circa 1900 in opdracht van Jhr. Quintus in een voor de eeuwwisseling karakteristieke villabouwstijl met elementen van de Chalet-stijl. Het gebouw is sinds 1988 in gebruik als kantoor en daartoe inwendig aangepast. De moderne aanbouw aan de achtergevel valt buiten de bescherming. Omschrijving Het gebouw is opgetrokken op een in hoofdvorm rechthoekige plattegrond en telt twee bouwlagen met een zolderverdieping onder een samengesteld dak, bekleed met dakleer. De asymmetrisch ingedeelde gevels zijn geheel gestuct evenals het basement. De voorgevel heeft een sterk horizontaal accent in de vorm van een balkon aan weerszijden van het vooruitspringende middenrisaliet met een topgevel met houten vakwerk en houten topgevelbeschieting. Op de begane grond van dit deel een driezijdige erker met glas-in-lood. Aan de zuidkant is een rechthoekige serre met terras uitgebouwd waarboven een houten loggia met aansluitend balkon met open balustrade, dat rust op drie zuilen. Aan de linkerkant van het middenrisaliet loopt dit balkon door over de volle breedte van de voorgevel en rust hier op zware gestucte consoles. De ingang met moderne voordeur is links van het middenrisaliet geplaatst en heeft een torenachtige uitbouw, bekroond door een licht ingesnoerd, bolvormig tentdak: liggende vensters onder het dakoverstek en op de verdieping een rondboogvenster boven de ingang. De vensters zijn onregelmatig over de gevels verspreid en hebben glas-in-lood in de bovenlichten. The front facade has a strong horizontal accent in the form of a balcony on either side of the projecting central risalit with a gable with wooden timber framing and wooden gable cladding. On the ground floor of this section a three-sided bay window with leaded glass. On the south side a rectangular conservatory with terrace has been built beneath a wooden loggia with adjoining balcony with open balustrade, which rests on three columns. On the left side of the central risalit this balcony continues over the full width of the front facade and rests here on heavy rendered consoles. The entrance with modern front door is placed to the left of the central risalit and has a tower-like projection, crowned by a lightly constricted, bulbous tent roof: horizontal windows under the roof overhang and on the upper floor a round-arched window above the entrance. The windows are irregularly distributed over the facades and have leaded glass in the fanlights.
