Omschrijving
BRUG OVER DE BUITENGRACHT, TEN NOORDEN VAN DE BINNENTUIN. In 1887 door Edouard Andre ontworpen zogenaamde "pont oblique", bestaande uit een eenvoudige houten brug op rode bakstenen brughoofden, met gietijzeren balustrade aan weerszijden. De balustrade is opgebouwd uit een aan weerszijden naar onderen boogsgewijsinzwenkende regel en handlijst, die door in twee afgewende krullen eindigende stijlen worden gesteund.
De brug ligt over de buitengracht aan de noordzijde van de binnentuin en is gesitueerd op de hoofdas van de aanleg.

Description
BRIDGE OVER THE OUTER MOAT, NORTH OF THE INNER COURTYARD. A so-called "pont oblique" designed in 1887 by Edouard Andre, consisting of a simple wooden bridge on red brick abutments, with cast-iron balustrade on either side. The balustrade is constructed from a rail and handrail curving bow-shaped downwards on either side, which are supported by posts ending in two outward-curling scrolls.
The bridge spans the outer moat on the north side of the inner courtyard and is situated on the main axis of the layout.
