Omschrijving
TOEGANGSBRUG. Op de as van het huis gelegen toegangsbrug over de buitengracht bestaande uit twee 17de- eeuwse zandstenen keermuren en borstweringen. De als een muur uit de gracht oprijzende naar boven licht verjongende keermuren, waarin centraal een kleine halfcirkelvormige doorlaat is vrijgehouden, zijn opgetrokken in zandsteen met blokmotief met rustica aan de onderzijden. Aan de voor(zuid- )- en achterzijden zwenken de keermuren, die halverwege door een rechthoekige pijler worden geleed, respectievelijk half ellipsboogvormig en haaks naar buiten om, om te eindigen in een rechthoekige hoekpijler. Pijlers en hoekpijlers, geleden de eveneens van blokmotief voorziene zandstenen borstwering, die door een geprofileerde afdekplaat is afgesloten.
Keermuren en balustrades zijn in de jaren '80 en '90 van deze eeuw gerestaureerd.

Description
ACCESS BRIDGE. An access bridge situated on the axis of the house, spanning the outer moat, consisting of two 17th-century sandstone retaining walls and balustrades. The retaining walls, rising as a wall from the moat and tapering slightly upward, in which a small semicircular opening is centrally preserved, are constructed in sandstone with block motif and rustication on the undersides. On the front (south) and rear sides, the retaining walls, which are articulated midway by a rectangular pier, swing respectively in a half elliptical arch form and at right angles outward, ending in a rectangular corner pier. Piers and corner piers, articulated by the similarly block-motif sandstone balustrade, which is finished off by a profiled coping plate.
Retaining walls and balustrades were restored in the 1980s and 1990s of this century.
