BOERDERIJ in ambachtelijke stijl gebouwd rond 1860. Typologisch behorend tot het hallehuistype met middenlangsdeel. In 1982 gerestaureerd in opdracht van de Stichting Orvelte naar ontwerp van het Bureau Monumentenzorg van de Provincie Drenthe.
Omschrijving
Evenwijdig aan de weg gelegen boerderij in baksteen opgetrokken met constructie van ankerbalkgebinten en gedekt door een afgewolfd rietdak; twee schoorstenen; uilebord. Woonhuis met kelderramen met diefijzers; opkamer met 4-ruits en klein 6-ruits schuifraam; 6-ruits schuiframen met strekken; 4-ruits zolderramen in de kopse gevel; staafankers.
Schuurgevels: noordzijde met getoogde gietijzeren 6-ruits stalramen en mestdeuren; achtergevel met getoogde baander met loopdeur en overhoeks geplaatst stalraam; gietijzeren rondboogvenster aan weerszijden; stal- en mestdeur; zuidgevel met halfronde gietijzeren stalvensters en mestdeuren.

Farmhouse situated parallel to the road, built in brick with construction of anchor-tie trusses and covered by a cambered thatched roof; two chimneys; owl board. Dwelling house with basement windows with anti-theft bars; upper chamber with 4-pane and small 6-pane sash window; 6-pane sash windows with mullions; 4-pane attic windows in the gable end; rod anchors.
Barn facades: north side with arched cast-iron 6-pane stable windows and manure doors; rear facade with arched timber brace with passage door and diagonally positioned stable window; cast-iron round-arched window on either side; stable and manure door; south facade with half-round cast-iron stable windows and manure doors.
