Inleiding
BOERDERIJ in aanleg 18e-eeuws maar in 1851 verbouwd waarbij jaartalankers zijn aangebracht in de achtergevel. De boerderij is een voorbeeld van een hallehuis-type met achterbaander. De boerderij is in 1972 in opdracht van I.L. Stijnen met zorg verbouwd tot woonhuis. Het restauratieplan werd opgemaakt door het Bureau Monumentenzorg van de Provincie Drenthe. Met de uitvoering werd Fa. J.H. Linneman belast.
Omschrijving
Boerderij gebaseerd op rechthoekige grondslag met enkele krimpen en opgetrokken in baksteen; gedekt door een afgewolfd rietdak met gevlochten nok; schoorsteen. Gevelopbouw negentiende eeuws metselwerk; vlechting; staafankers. Zuidgevel van het woonhuis maakt een sprong naar buiten en heeft een dakoplichting; 9- en 12-ruits schuiframen; in de oplichting van het dakvlak een 4-ruits zolderraam. Voorgevel woonhuis met 15-ruits schuiframen en twee 2-ruits kelderramen en twee 4-ruits zolderramen; noordgevel woonhuis met 15-ruits schuiframen, houten deur met 6-ruits bovenlicht afgedekt door een rollaag. Achtergevel met getoogde inrijdeur op negentiende eeuwse wijze geplaatst in het vlak van de achtergevel; aan weerskanten een stalvenster en mestdeuren; boven de inrijdeur jaartalankers; zijgevels schuur met tot raam verbouwde stalvensters en mestdeuren.

FARMHOUSE under construction in the 18th century but rebuilt in 1851 with date anchors installed in the rear facade. The farmhouse is an example of a hall-house type with rear outbuilding. The farmhouse was carefully converted into a dwelling house in 1972 on the orders of I.L. Stijnen. The restoration plan was drawn up by the Monument Care Office of the Province of Drenthe. Fa. J.H. Farmhouse based on a rectangular ground plan with some shrinkage and built in brick; covered by a half-hipped thatched roof with woven ridge; chimney. Facade construction nineteenth-century brickwork; woven bonds; rod anchors. South facade of the dwelling house steps outward and has a roof light; 9- and 12-pane sash windows; in the roof light of the roof plane a 4-pane attic window. Front facade of dwelling house with 15-pane sash windows and two 2-pane cellar windows and two 4-pane attic windows; north facade of dwelling house with 15-pane sash windows, wooden door with 6-pane fanlight covered by a roller course. Rear facade with arched drive-in door placed in nineteenth-century manner in the plane of the rear facade; on either side a stable window and dung doors; above the drive-in door date anchors; side facades of barn with stable windows and dung doors converted into windows.
