Inleiding
In ambachtelijke stijl gebouwde BOERDERIJ met als oudste datum 1736 (in een gebint) en daarna uitgebreid en aangepast waarbij de verspringing van de kap met name opvallend is. Typologisch behorend tot de hallehuistype met middenlangsdeel. In 1975 werd de boerderij tot woonhuis gerestaureerd in opdracht van de heer H.P. Nagtegaal; uitvoering door Kuik BV te Elp.
Omschrijving
Tot woonhuis gerestaureerde boerderij in baksteen opgetrokken, met ankerbalkgebintconstructie en gedekt door een rieten schilddak met markante knik naar het woonhuis; gevlochten nok. Woonhuis met steil dakschild bedekt met riet en mos, de uitkraging ondervangen door uitkraagplaat, -hout en -schoor. Voorgevel woonhuis met restant van een vakwerkconstructie (stijl en ankerbalk); handgevormde steen; 28-ruits ramen met luiken en 9-ruits ramen; deur met bovenlicht. Schuurgevel met kleine stalgaten met 4-ruits invulling, mestdeuren en achtergevel met getoogd kozijn van de baanderdeur en twee staldeuren.

Boerderij van cultuurhistorisch belang vanwege de typologische ontwikkeling en de markante constructie van het voorschild en van architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege de traditionele vormgeving en het materiaalgebruik; voorts van stedebouwkundig belang voor de herkenbaarheid en structurele gaafheid van de omgeving (vooral ten opzichte van het eveneens beschermde buurpand De Vledders 6).

FARMHOUSE built in vernacular style with the oldest date 1736 (in a timber frame) and subsequently extended and adapted whereby the displacement of the roof structure is particularly striking. Typologically belonging to the hall-house type with central longitudinal section. In 1975 the farmhouse was restored to residential use at the behest of Mr. H.P. Nagtegaal; executed by Kuik BV from Elp.
Description
Farmhouse restored to residential use, erected in brick, with anchor-beam timber-frame construction and covered by a thatched hipped roof with marked bend towards the dwelling house; woven ridge. Dwelling house with steep roof slope covered with thatch and moss, the cantilever supported by cantilever plate, timber and strut. Front facade of dwelling house with remains of timber-frame construction (post and anchor beam); hand-formed brick; 28-pane windows with shutters and 9-pane windows; door with fanlight. Barn facade with small cattle-access openings with 4-pane infill, manure doors and rear facade with arched frame of the barn door and two stable doors.
Valuation
Farmhouse of cultural-historical significance due to the typological development and the striking construction of the front roof slope and of architectural-historical significance due to the traditional design and material use; furthermore of urban-planning significance for the recognisability and structural integrity of the surroundings (particularly in relation to the likewise protected neighbouring property De Vledders 6).
