STOOKHOK, gebouwd rond 1890 en behorend bij het herenhuis Bosch en Vaart. Het ten westen van de oranjerie gelegen gebouw pand is een goed voorbeeld van vakwerkarchitectuur.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekige grondslag gebaseerd verdiepingloos stookhok, opgetrokken uit met baksteen gevuld en op een plint van Bentheimer zandsteen rustend vakwerk en gedekt door een met geglazuurde platte Friese pannen belegd zadeldak; windveren. Het pleisterwerk is voorzien van diagonale schijnvoegen. Opgeklampte deur in west- en zuidgevel (deels eveneneens voorzien van diagonale groef); smalle vensters met wenkbrauw.
Waardering
Stookhok van cultuurhistorisch, architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang; tevens van belang als voormalig functioneel onderdeel van het complex Bosch en Vaart. Uniek en redelijk gaaf.

Heating house based on a rectangular ground plan, single-storey, constructed from timber framing infilled with brick and resting on a plinth of Bentheimer sandstone and covered by a gabled roof laid with glazed flat Frisian tiles; wind braces. The plasterwork is provided with diagonal false joints. Hinged door in west and south facade (partly likewise provided with diagonal grooves); narrow windows with eyebrows.
Valuation
Heating house of cultural-historical, architectural-historical and urban-planning importance; moreover of importance as a former functional component of the complex Bosch en Vaart. Unique and reasonably intact.
