Inleiding
BOERDERIJ aan de brink gelegen en in aanleg 18e-eeuws met bouwkundige aanpassingen uit de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw in een traditionele ambachtelijke stijl uitgevoerd. Vermeldenswaardig is de erfverharding met keibestrating. De bescherming betreft het hoofdgebouw alsmede de hoofdvorm van de bijschuur (de detaillering van de bijschuur is vanwege aanpassingen minder interessant). De overige bijgebouwen vallen buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
Boerderij in baksteen opgetrokken met constructie van ankerbalkgebinten en gedekt door een afgewolfd rietdak met steil wolfseind aan woonhuiszijde; gevlochten nok en schoorsteen in de nok. Gevelopbouw woonhuis in baksteen opgetrokken en aan straatzijde (noordgevel) een tandlijst waarin de smeedijzeren staafankers zijn opgenomen; 6-ruits schuiframen met natuurstenen vensterbanken; luiken en strekken. De kopse gevel mist de luiken maar heeft voorts kleine 2-ruits zolderramen en een toegevoegd raam in het steile dakvlak. De zuidelijke zijgevel heeft onder meer een kelderraam met diefijzers en een 4-ruits raam met luiken voor de opkamer.
De schuurgevels zijn uitgevoerd met mestdeuren en getoogde 6- ruits gietijzeren stalramen in de zuidgevel; aan de noordzijde met taatsdraaiende en getoogde gietijzeren ramen. De symmetrisch ingedeelde achtergevel heeft een getoogde baander met aan weerskanten een 4-ruits stalraam; staldeuren.
Scheef achter de schuur staat een op gemetselde basis geplaatste bijschuur opgebouwd uit ankerbalkgebinten met pen- en-gat verbinding en gedekt door een rieten schilddak.
Waardering
Boerderij van cultuurhistorisch belang vanwege de ontwikkeling van de esdorp en de kenmerkende aanpassingen van de oude boerderijbebouwing; van architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege de vormgeving, de ontwikkeling van het bouwtype alsmede vanwege de betekenis voor de herkenbaarheid van de oude brinkstructuur; in verband met dat laatste is het pand ook van stedebouwkundig belang als beeldbepalend element aan de brink.

FARMHOUSE situated on the brink and dating from the 18th century in layout with building modifications from the second half of the 19th century executed in a traditional artisanal style. Noteworthy is the yard paving with stone setts. The protection concerns the main building as well as the main form of the auxiliary barn (the detailing of the auxiliary barn is less interesting because of modifications). The remaining outbuildings fall outside the protection.
Description
Farmhouse built of brick with anchor-beam structure and covered by a barrel-vaulted thatched roof with steep half-hipped roof on the dwelling-house side; woven ridge and chimney in the ridge. Facade construction dwelling house built of brick and on the street side (north facade) a dentil course in which the wrought-iron bar anchors are incorporated; 6-pane sash windows with natural stone window sills; shutters and stretchers. The end facade lacks the shutters but otherwise has small 2-pane hayloft windows and an added window in the steep roof slope. The southern side facade has, among others, a basement window with theft bars and a 4-pane window with shutters for the upstairs room.
The barn facades are executed with manure doors and arched 6-pane cast-iron stable windows on the south facade; on the north side with rotating and arched cast-iron windows. The symmetrically arranged rear facade has an arched baander with on either side a 4-pane stable window; stable doors.
Askew behind the barn stands an auxiliary barn placed on a brick base, constructed from anchor-beam timber with mortise-and-tenon joint and covered by a thatched hipped roof.
Evaluation
Farmhouse of cultural-historical importance because of the development of the esdorp and the characteristic modifications to the old farmstead buildings; of architectural-historical importance because of the design, the development of the building type as well as because of its significance for the recognisability of the old brink structure; in connection with the latter, the property is also of urban planning importance as an image-determining element on the brink.
