Omschrijving onderdeel 5: (Almelosestraat)BRUG MET HEK EN ZUILSOKKELS. Aan de oprijlaan aan de noordzijde van de gracht gelegen houten brug uit ca. 1910 met eenvoudige ijzeren balustrade, die aan de noordzijde door twee hardstenen zuilsokkels wordt beëindigd. De zuilsokkels zijn 8-zijdig van vorm en rusten op een vierkant/voetstuk, waarvan de verklimming naar de sokkel via een driehoekig overgangslid geschiedt. De sokkels worden door een rechthoekige afdeksteen met 8-zijdige pyramide-vormige bekroning afgesloten, met aan de voor(noord-)zijde links en rechts respectievelijk de inscriptie "BACKEN" en "HAGEN".
Aan de zuidzijde van de brug een dubbel siersmeedijzeren spijlenhek met twee vleugelstukken met spijlen. Het hek wordt aan weerszijden door een rode bakstenen vierkante pijler afgesloten, die door een hardstenen afgeplatte bolvormig ornamentstuk wordt bekroond.

Description
Description of component 5: (Almelosestraat) BRIDGE WITH FENCE AND COLUMN BASES. Located on the drive-way on the north side of the moat a wooden bridge from ca. 1910 with simple iron balustrade, which on the north side is terminated by two stone column bases. The column bases are octagonal in form and rest on a square/plinth, the ascent to the base being effected via a triangular transitional member. The bases are closed off by a rectangular coping stone with octagonal pyramid-shaped crown, with on the front (north) side to the left and right respectively the inscription "BACKEN" and "HAGEN".
On the south side of the bridge a double ornamental wrought iron rail fence with two wing sections with rails. The fence is closed off on either side by a red brick square pillar, which is crowned by a stone flattened spherical ornamental feature.
