Omschrijving
Bescheiden 15e eeuws huis in een opzet gebouwd met Slachtstraat 2, bestaande uit een voorhuis met twee bouwlagen en een kap, en een jongere aanbouw.
Kintgenshaven, Slachtstraat en Teelingstraat waren van oorsprong straten waar ambachtslieden huisden die een relatie hadden met het nabij gelegen vleeshuis.
In 1643 vond een reconstructie van de omgeving plaats waardoor een beter aanzien werd verkregen. Het karakter wordt vooral door de 17e eeuwse bebouwing bepaald. Samen met Slachtstraat 2 vormt Kintgenshaven hierop een uitzondering.
Het huis bezit nog 15e eeuwse moer- en kinderbalken met op de beganegrond een peerkraalsleutelstuk. De inrichting is deels 19e eeuws. De gevel is een gepleisterde lijstgevel met een langs de Slachtstraat doorlopende gootlijst.
De ramen zijn 19e eeuwse T-vensters. Naast de 19e eeuwse voordeur is een garagedeur aangebracht.
Het bouwhistorisch- en historisch belang ontleent dit eenvoudige huis aan de vrij gave constructie en het verband met Slachtstraat 2.

Description
Modest 15th-century house built in conjunction with Slachtstraat 2, consisting of a front house with two storeys and a roof structure, and a younger extension.
Kintgenshaven, Slachtstraat and Teelingstraat were originally streets where craftsmen lived who had a connection with the nearby meat hall.
In 1643 a reconstruction of the area took place which resulted in a better appearance. The character is particularly determined by the 17th-century buildings. Together with Slachtstraat 2, Kintgenshaven is an exception to this.
The house still possesses 15th-century main and secondary beams with a pear-bead keystone on the ground floor. The interior is partly 19th-century. The facade is a plastered cornice-topped facade with a gutter moulding running along the Slachtstraat.
The windows are 19th-century T-windows. Next to the 19th-century front door a garage door has been added.
This simple house derives its architectural-historical and historical importance from the relatively well-preserved construction and the connection with Slachtstraat 2.
