Binnen het beschermde dorpsgezicht Raren gelegen, deels 18e, deels 19e eeuwse VAKWERK-BOERDERIJ met lage verdieping, op L-vormige plattegrond en onder met blauwe Hollandse pannen gedekt omlopend zadeldak, en een losse 19e eeuwse vakwerkschuur onder met blauwe Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak.
De vakwerkgevels van de boerderij - vakken gevuld met leem - zijn boven de ten dele zwart geverfde voet van breuksteen geheel witgeschilderd.
In de NO-gevel (voorgevel) twee kleine 2-ruits ramen met luik, twee staldeuren en twee stalraampjes op de begane grond en twee raampjes en een hooiluik op de verdieping.
In de ZO-gevel twee 4-ruits ramen, een deur met 4-ruits bovenlicht en een stalraam op de begane grond en vier raampjes op de verdieping.
Los op het erf aan de ZW-zijde de 19e eeuwse vakwerkschuur met boven de voet van breuksteen geheel witgeschilderde gevels (vakken gevuld met leem) en in de NO-gevel een staldeur en een venster op de begane grond en een hooiluik in de geveltop.
Vanwege de constructie, de hoofdvorm, de bescheiden gevelopeningen en de samenhang met Rarenderstraat 63 en het omringende beschermde dorpsgezicht is deze boerderij met losse schuur een goed en representatief voorbeeld van 18e/19e eeuwse vakwerkbouw en als zodanig van belang uit oogpunt van oudheidkundige en volkskundige waarde.

Description
Located within the protected village character of Raren, partly 18th, partly 19th century TIMBER-FRAMED FARMHOUSE with low storey, on L-shaped floor plan and under continuous gabled roof covered with blue Dutch tiles, and a separate 19th century timber-framed barn under gabled roof covered with blue Dutch tiles.
The timber-framed facades of the farmhouse - panels filled with laths and clay - are above the partly black-painted base of rubble stone entirely whitewashed.
In the NE facade (front facade) two small 2-pane windows with shutter, two stable doors and two stable windows on the ground floor and two small windows and a hay door on the storey.
In the SE facade two 4-pane windows, a door with 4-pane fanlight and a stable window on the ground floor and four small windows on the storey.
Separately on the yard on the SW side the 19th century timber-framed barn with above the base of rubble stone entirely whitewashed facades (panels filled with laths and clay) and in the NE facade a stable door and a window on the ground floor and a hay door in the gable top.
Because of the construction, the main form, the modest window openings and the relationship with Rarenderstraat 63 and the surrounding protected village character of Raren, this farmhouse with separate barn is a good and representative example of 18th/19th century timber-framed construction and as such of importance from the point of view of archaeological and folkloristic value.
