Inleiding
BOERDERIJ gebouwd in 1886 op de plaats van een uit 1777 daterende voorganger die door brand werd verwoest. De afwijkende vormgeving heeft te maken met de vroegere dubbelfunctie van cafe en boerderij. De doorrit, met inrijdeur in zuidelijke en noordelijke gevel, was bereikbaar vanaf de openbare weg, wat nog steeds duidelijk valt af te lezen aan het tracé van de Asserstraat en de bermbeplanting met eiken van de vroegere openbare weg. De bijgebouwen vallen wegens te weinig monumentale waarden buiten de bescherming.

Het uit baksteen opgetrokken schuurgedeelte gedekt door een driezijdig rieten wolfdak met uileborden met ruitvormige roedeverdeling; doorrit met inrijdeuren, aan noordzijde met gebogen bovendorpel en aan zuidzijde met dito bovendorpel en ruitvormige roedeverdeling in bovenlicht; zuidgevel schuur met drie gietijzeren rondvensters, staldeuren, staafankers en vlechtingen. FARMHOUSE built in 1886 on the site of a predecessor dating from 1777 which was destroyed by fire. The distinctive design is related to the former dual function of café and farmhouse. The carriage passage, with entrance doors in the southern and northern gable, was accessible from the public road, which can still clearly be read from the course of the Asserstraat and the verge planting of oaks of the former public road.
