Mooi aan een zandweg tussen hoog geboomte gelegen eind 19e-/begin 20e-eeuwse traditionele oosttwentse BOERDERIJ. De boerderij vormt een geheel met de aan de overzijde van de zandweg gelegen eveneens beschermde eind 19e-/begin 20e-eeuwse schuur Hooidijk 37.
Uit baksteen opgetrokken boerderij met middenlangsdeel onder een met pannen gedekt zadeldak tussen met hout beschoten topgevels, waaronderlangs een rand even uitgemetselde tandlijstjes; schoorsteen op de scheiding van woon- en bedrijfsgedeelte; windveren met stiepeltekens in de vorm van een rijksappel; staafankers.
In de voorgevel twee rechtgesloten vierruitsramen, lichtgetoogde opgeklampte deur met bovenlicht en twee dito zesruitsschuiframen; in de achtergevel teruggeplaatste dubbele deeldeuren onder kofbogig-gesloten overhuiving; onder de overhuiving respectievelijk in de zijbeuken rechtgesloten staldeuren. De detaillering der zijgevels, met uitzondering van de staldeuren en de vierruitsvensters, niet meer oorspronkelijk.
Eind 19e-/begin 20e-eeuwse boerderij van belang wegens de mooie ligging, de traditionele oosttwentse architectonische vormgeving en de relatie tot de eveneens beschermde ertegenover gelegen schuur.

Description
Attractively situated on a sand road between tall trees, end 19th-/early 20th century traditional eastern Twente farmhouse. The farmhouse forms a unit with the barn Hooidijk 37, also protected, situated on the other side of the sand road, likewise dating from the end 19th-/early 20th century.
Farmhouse constructed of brick with central longitudinal section beneath a Dutch-tile gabled roof between timber-clad end gables, along which a row of additionally moulded tooth friezes; chimney on the division between residential and business section; wind braces with spire markers in the form of a royal apple; staple anchors.
In the front facade two square-headed four-pane windows, lightly hooded fitted door with fanlight and two likewise six-pane sash windows; in the rear facade reset double folding doors beneath a basket-arch closed overhang; beneath the overhang respectively in the side aisles square-headed stable doors. The detailing of the side facades, with the exception of the stable doors and the four-pane windows, no longer original.
End 19th-/early 20th century farmhouse of importance because of the attractive setting, the traditional eastern Twente architectural design and the relationship to the likewise protected barn opposite.
