Omschrijving
VOORHOF voor de borg, tesamen met deze laatste een eiland vormend in de slotgracht. De huidige vorm met afgeschuinde hoeken aan de voorzijde is voor 1839 ontstaan na verwijdering van de onderstukken van overigens reeds in 1781 afgebroken hoektorentjes. De voorhof is aan de grachtzijde voorzien van bakstenen walmuren.

Description
FORECOURT of the borg, together with the latter forming an island in the castle moat. The present form with bevelled corners at the front came into being before 1839 after removal of the lower parts of corner turrets otherwise already demolished in 1781. The forecourt is provided with brick curtain walls on the moat side.
