HERENHUIS Westerbroek is gebouwd in 1802 vermoedelijk in opdracht van de familie Hesselink. Het huis is gelegen in een landschappelijk aangelegde tuin met vijver en royale beplanting; het terrein wordt aan wegzijde begrensd door smeedijzeren hekwerk. Omschrijving
Verdiepingloos herenhuis gebouwd op rechthoekig grondslag, opgetrokken in baksteen, bestaande uit souterrain (aan achterzijde) en onderkeldering (voorzijden gedekt door een schilddak belegd met een geglazuurde golfpan; twee schoorstenen met kappen. De gevelindeling wordt bepaald door 6-ruits ramen met strekken, (vernieuwde eenvoudige) goten. De symmetrische voorgevel heeft een natuurstenen stoep met opvallende ballen waaraan smeedijzeren kettingen; gebombeerde van houtsnijwerk voorziene paneeldeur; houten deuromlijsting; het verhoogde middenst wordt afgedekt door een gedrukt zadeldak met eenvoudige windveren. Opvallend is overgang van het souterrain naar de onderkeldering waardoor tevens een niveauverschil in de tuinaanleg ontstaat. Waardering
