Inleiding
BOERDERIJ waarvan de schuur is gebouwd in 1889 in een ambachtelijke stijl maar volgens een afwijkende methode en van grote omvang. Het aangebouwde woonhuis dateert van rond 1915 en is gebouwd in Overgangsarchitectuur met Art Nouveau-motieven. De boerderij werd gebouwd in opdracht van de familie Caspers, die toen zij ging rentenieren het bedrijfsgedeelte ging verpachten. Voor de pachter werd woonruimte gebouwd in wat toen als stal- en koetshuis in gebruik was. Het betrof de ruimten aan de westkant van de schuur.
Omschrijving.
Boerderij bestaande uit woonhuis en schuur. Het woonhuis is gebaseerd op rechthoekige grondslag en heeft een verdieping onder het afgewolfd zadeldak dat belegd is met een muldenpan; schoorsteen in nok en in oostelijke dakschild. In het westelijke dakvlak een zadeldak met overstek ten behoeve van het verhoogde middenstuk en aan weerskanten een houten dakkapel met lessenaardak. Aan de kopse kanten windveren en een geprofileerde gietijzeren goot. Gevelopbouw met gepleisterde plint, opgaand metselwerk verlevendigd met licht gele stenen banden en casementen onder de vensters, vensters met Art Nouveau roedeverdeling; siermetselwerk in boogveld en rode bakstenen ontlastingsboog. Fries met sober decoratief metselwerk, bewerkte consoles en een geprofileerde gootlijst. De symmetrische westgevel heeft een centraal gelegen portiek in sobere Art Nouveau uitvoering met dubbele paneeldeuren en Art Nouveau sierroosters. Het middenstuk verhoogd en heeft twee vensters met rondboog ontlastingsboog en een bloksgewijs geplaatste houten betimmering.
De SCHUUR heeft een constructie met dekbalkgebinten met drie stijlen waarvan de meest westelijke stijlen rusten op de muur van het tot woonhuis ingerichte bedrijfsgedeelte. De gevels zijn in baksteen uitgevoerd en het geheel wordt gedekt door een afgewolfd rietdak (deels met pannen onderlangs en een gedeelte nabij het woonhuis eveneens met pannen belegd). De westelijke gevel heeft onder meer 6-ruitsschuiframen. De noordelijke en zuidelijke gevel hebben onder meer een baanderdeur met een getoogd bovenlicht met ruitvormige roedeverdeling; enkele staldeuren en getoogde gietijzeren stal- en zolderramen.

FARM of which the barn was built in 1889 in a craftsman style but according to a divergent method and of great size. The adjoining farmhouse dates from around 1915 and is built in Transitional architecture with Art Nouveau motifs. The farm was built on commission of the Caspers family, who when they went into retirement let out the business section. Living accommodation was built for the tenant in what was then used as a stable and coach house. This concerned the spaces on the west side of the barn.

Farm consisting of farmhouse and barn. The farmhouse is based on a rectangular ground plan and has one storey under the curved gabled roof which is covered with curved barrel tiles; chimney in the ridge and in the eastern roof slope. In the western roof slope a gabled roof with overhang for the raised central section and on either side a wooden roof dormer with lean-to roof. At the gable ends wind vanes and a profiled cast-iron gutter. Facade construction with plastered plinth, ascending masonry enlivened with light yellow stone bands and casements beneath the windows, windows with Art Nouveau glazing bars; decorative masonry in arched field and red brick relieving arch. Frieze with sober decorative masonry, worked consoles and a profiled gutter moulding. The symmetrical west gable has a centrally located porch in sober Art Nouveau execution with double panel doors and Art Nouveau decorative grilles. The central section is raised and has two windows with round-arch relieving arch and blockwise placed wooden cladding.
The BARN has a structure with tie-beam trusses with three posts of which the most westerly posts rest on the wall of the business section converted into a farmhouse. The gables are executed in brick and the whole is covered by a curved thatched roof (partly with tiles underneath and a section near the farmhouse also covered with tiles). The western gable has among others 6-pane sash windows. The northern and southern gables have among others a Dutch barn door with a rounded fanlight with diamond-pattern glazing bars; several stable doors and rounded cast-iron stable and loft windows.
Valuation
Farm of cultural-historical significance because of the typological development and of architectural-historical significance because of the design, the use of materials and the significance for building technique, as well as because of its integrity.
