In aanleg 18e eeuws, doch in de 19e en de 20e eeuw verbouwd Twents boerderij-complex bestaande uit hoofdgebouw met bovenkamer, aangebouwde grote schuur en vrijstaande houten schuur.
Het in aanleg 18e eeuwse doch grotendeels 19e-20e eeuwse hoofdgebouw opgetrokken uit baksteen op plint van Bentheimer zandsteen en gedekt door een met pannen belegd hoog opgaand zadeldak tussen met hout beschoten topgevels waarlangs windveren; schoorsteen met bord; staafankers. Inwendig eikehouten gebintconstructie. In de voorgevel deur met bovenlicht en drie 6-ruitsvensters; de detaillering der zijgevels niet oorspronkelijk; de achtergevel uitgerust met gedrukte halfrond gesloten dubbele deeldeuren en staldeuren en twee dito gesloten stalvensters met gietijzeren tracering; op de overgang metselwerk/houten topgevel en dubbele bakstenen muizetandlijst. Inwendig eikehouten gebintconstructie.
Aan de voorzijde aangebouwd eind 18e eeuwse bovenkamer, opgetrokken uit baksteen op plint van Bentheimer zandsteen en gedekt door een met pannen belegd zadeldak tussen met hout beschoten topgevels waarlangs windveren; topschoorsteen; staafankers. In de korte voorgevel twee verdiept liggende blinde nissen in de zijgevels respectievelijk twee vermoedelijk eveneens nog 18e eeuwse ramen met veelruits verdeling en deur met eenvoudig geprofileerd houten hoofdgestel, twee 6-ruits vensters en steen met opschrift: B.E. G.T.R.E.L. 1792.
De aangebouwde schuur voornamelijk 19e eeuws, eveneens opgetrokken uit baksteen op 18e eeuwse plint van Bentheimer zandsteen en gedekt door een met pannen belegd zadeldak tussen houten topgevels, in een waarvan hooiluik, en waarlangs windveren. De gevels uitgerust met gedrukte halfrond gesloten deeldeuren, dito gesloten vensters met gietijzeren tracering en halfronde stalvensters met gietijzeren tracering; op de scheiding van metselwerk/houten topgevel een dubbele bakstenen muizetandlijst.
Op het erf grote voor het gebied Usselo/Zuid-Esmarke karakteristieke in aanleg vermoedelijk eveneens nog 18e eeuwse met houten delen beklede schuur onder hoog opgaand met pannen belegd zadeldak tussen houten topgevels, waarlangs windveren. Inwendig eikehouten gebintconstructie. Een put van Bentheimer zandsteen.
Het belang van dit complex is gelegen in de traditionele opzet, de constructie, het materiaalgebruik, de aanwezigheid van de tegenwoordig steeds zeldzamer wordende nog 18e eeuwse bovenkamer en de voor de streek Usselo/Zuid-Esmarke karakteristieke grote houten schuur en zandstenen put.

The originally 18th-century but largely 19th-20th-century main building constructed of brick on a plinth of Bentheim sandstone and roofed with a high-rising gabled roof tiled with red tiles between wooden-clad stepped gables along which wind vanes; chimney stack with board; rod anchors. Internally oak timber-frame construction. In the front facade a door with fanlight and three 6-pane windows; the detailing of the side facades not original; the rear facade equipped with pressed half-round closed double doors and stable doors and two likewise closed stable windows with cast-iron tracery; on the transition brickwork/wooden stepped gable and double brick mouse-tooth moulding. Internally oak timber-frame construction.
On the front side attached late 18th-century upper chamber, constructed of brick on a plinth of Bentheim sandstone and roofed with a tile-roofed gabled roof between wooden-clad stepped gables along which wind vanes; top chimney stack; rod anchors. In the short front facade two recessed blind niches and on the side facades respectively two presumed likewise still 18th-century windows with multi-pane glazing bars and door with simply moulded wooden door-case, two 6-pane windows and stone with inscription: B.E. G.T.R.E.L. 1792.
The attached barn predominantly 19th-century, likewise constructed of brick on 18th-century plinth of Bentheim sandstone and roofed with a tile-roofed gabled roof between wooden stepped gables, in one of which hay loft, and along which wind vanes. The facades equipped with pressed half-round closed doors, likewise closed windows with cast-iron tracery and half-round stable windows with cast-iron tracery; on the division of brickwork/wooden stepped gable a double brick mouse-tooth moulding.
On the courtyard a large barn clad with wooden sections for the area Usselo/South-Esmarke characteristic apparently still originally 18th-century under high-rising tile-roofed gabled roof between wooden stepped gables, along which wind vanes. Internally oak timber-frame construction. A well of Bentheim sandstone.
The significance of this complex lies in the traditional layout, the construction, the material use, the presence of the nowadays increasingly rare still 18th-century upper chamber and the barn and sandstone well characteristic for the region Usselo/South-Esmarke.
