Inleiding:
Wind-stellingkorenmolen Molen Massier. Markant op enkele tientallen meters van de grens met de gemeente Nieuwleusen gelegen achtkante molen, gebouwd in 1861.
NB: de aangebouwde schuur aan de oostzijde valt buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving:
Molen Massier, nog bestaande uit de zes verdiepingen tellende romp die onder het stellingniveau een gemetseld, deels gepotdekseld achtkant zonder steunberen en drie eenvoudige houten zolders uit eiken- en grenenhout omvat en boven het stellingniveau een grenenhouten rietgedekt achtkant met twee bintlagen.
Aan de noordwest- en de oostzijde liggen inrijdeuren onder lichtgetoogde hanekammen met natuurstenen sluitsteen; op de eerste en tweede verdieping lichtgetoogde vensters met gietijzeren twaalfruitsverdeling.
In het (boven)achtkant zijn van het voormalige gaande werk drie eiken ijzerbalken aanwezig.
Waardering: Incomplete achtkantige wind-stellingkorenmolen van algemeen belang wegens:

Wind-stellingkorenmolen Molen Massier. Striking octagonal mill located several tens of metres from the border with the municipality of Nieuwleusen, built in 1861.
NB: the adjoining barn on the east side falls outside the protection.
Description:
Molen Massier, still consisting of the six-storey drum which beneath the staging level comprises a laid, partly potlid-covered octagon without buttresses and three simple wooden floors of oak and pine wood and above the staging level a pine-wood reed-covered octagon with two roof-trusses.
On the northwest and east sides are entrance doors beneath lightly arched cresting with natural stone closing stone; on the first and second floors lightly arched windows with cast-iron twelve-pane glazing.
In the (upper) octagon three oak iron beams from the former machinery are present.
Valuation: Incomplete octagonal wind-stellingkorenmolen of general importance because of:
