Inleiding.
Aan drie zijden vrijgelegen villa op de hoek van Statenplein en Stadhouderslaan uit 1903, gebouwd in neo-renaissance. Omschrijving.
Villa, op rechthoekige plattegrond met sterk verspringende rooilijn, bestaande uit begane grond en verdieping onder een samengestelde kap. De gevels zijn uitgevoerd in baksteen, afgewisseld met witgepleisterde en natuurstenen onderdelen. De gootlijst rust op consoles. Typische neo-renaissance details zijn de speklagen over de gevels, de geprofileerde rondbogen en de geblokte strekken boven de vensters en in de dakkapellen, met name de dakkapel boven de ingang met een tweelichtvenster, gedeeld door halfzuilen en een rijk uitgevoerd fronton. Het torenvormige bouwlichaam langs de zijgevel aan de Stadhouderslaan telt drie bouwlagen en wordt afgesloten door een zelfstandige kap met een markante spitse bekroning. De middenas is als risaliet uitgevoerd. Op de eerste verdieping zijn op de hoeken karakteristieke balkons gesitueerd op gebeeldhouwde consoles.
