Inleiding.
Voormalig herenhuis uit omstreeks 1910 met natuurstenen lijstgevel in de stijl van de "Um Achtzehnhundert Bewegung". Het pand is opgenomen in de straatwand met aaneengesloten bebouwing. Omschrijving.
Het als herenhuis gebouwde, thans als kantoor fungerende, pand op rechthoekige plattegrond bestaat uit een souterrain waarboven drie bouwlagen en een zolderverdieping in het met leien gedekte, omlopende en afgeknotte schilddak. De breedte van het pand bedraagt drie vensterassen, waarvan de rechter de ingang bevat. De geheel met natuursteen beklede lijstgevel bezit een gebosseerd souterrain met getoogde vensters. De verdiepingen worden gescheiden door geprononceerde lijsten en het forse hoofdgestel vertoont voluutconsoles die de kroonlijst dragen. De getoogde vensters worden bekroond door geprofileerde lijsten die in de beletage en de eerste verdieping met sluitstenen zijn versierd. Alle vensters bezitten oreilles en getoogde houten wisseldorpels. De rondbogige ingangspartij bevat vleugeldeuren met panelen, snijwerk in de zwikken en een concaaf gebogen bovenlicht met kleine roedenverdeling. De boogvormige omlijsting van de ingang is versierd met gebeeldhouwde palmetten en een sluitsteen. De vensters van de eerste verdieping bezitten voluutversieringen met bladwerk aan de voet van hun omlijstingen. Het schilddak bezit aan de voorzijde twee forse dakkapellen met getoogde, geprofileerde omlijstingen, hoekvoluten en bekronende siervazen. Het dak wordt afgesloten door siersmeedwerk. The building, originally built as a townhouse, now functioning as an office, on a rectangular ground plan consists of a basement above which are three storeys and an attic storey in the slate-covered, continuous and cut-off hipped roof. The width of the building comprises three window bays, of which the right one contains the entrance. The cornice-topped facade, entirely clad in natural stone, has a rusticated basement with arched windows. The storeys are separated by pronounced mouldings and the substantial main entablature displays scroll consoles that carry the cornice. The arched windows are crowned by moulded profiles which on the piano nobile and the first floor are decorated with voussoirs. All windows have ears and arched wooden sash frames. The round-arched entrance section contains flanking doors with panels, carved work in the spandrels and a concavely curved fanlight with small glazing bars. The arched framing of the entrance is decorated with carved palmettes and a voussoir. The windows of the first floor have scroll decorations with foliage at the base of their mouldings. The hipped roof has on the front two sturdy roof dormers with arched, moulded framings, corner scrolls and crowning decorative urns. The roof is finished with ornamental ironwork. In the interior many components from the period of construction have been preserved. In front of the building is an iron front fence with four bollards. Valuation.
