Vrijstaand warenhuis "Maison De Bonneterie" uit 1913 op rechthoekige plattegrond gebouwd in opdracht van J. Cohen uit Amsterdam in de stijl van de "Um Achtzehnhundert Bewegung". Het ontwerp van A. Jacot is in samenwerking met A.H. Zinsmeister, J.L.Crouwel en G.F.la Croix gerealiseerd. Omschrijving.
De Haagse Bonneterie is een vrijstaand modewarenhuis gelegen op het kavel dat wordt omgeven door de Gravenstraat, Buitenhof, Halstraat en de Dagelijkse Groenmarkt, vormgegeven in de stijl van de "Um Achtzehnhundert Bewegung" met historiserende op het classicisme geinspireerde natuurstenen gevels. Het pand telt vier bouwlagen onder een met leien gedekt afgeknot schilddak. De gevels zijn met uitzondering van die aan de Halstraat met Bentheimer zandsteen bekleed en hebben terugliggende vensterrijen die door geprofileerde pilasters van de kolossale orde worden verbonden. De vensters met roedeverdeling in de bovenlichten zijn van hout. De gevel aan de nauwe Halstraat is in tegenstelling tot de andere sober uitgevoerd en opgetrokken in schoon metselwerk. De hoeken van de gevel aan de Gravenstraat zijn afgerond. In ieder van de drie hoofdgevels is een rondboogvormige ingangspartij. Deze ingangstravee van drie vensterassen is telkens licht risalerend uitgevoerd en eindigt als een attiek in het hellend dakvlak. In het fries zijn in deze risalieten de letters "Maison de Bonneterie" aangebracht. Boven de cordonlijst die de parterre afsluit zijn voor de ramen smeedijzeren hekken geplaatst. In het beeldhouwwerk en de ornamentiek van de diverse gevelstenen en ook elders in de gevels is in de keuze van de motieven duidelijk de invloed van de Javaanse kunst te herkennen. Het authentieke interieur met onder meer stucwerk, trappenhuis met kostbare houtafwerking en deuren met koperbeslag heeft een grote ovaalvormige vide met hoge lichtkoepel en op elke verdieping een open balustrade rondom deze vide. De lichtkoepel bestaat uit een imposante glas-in-lood constructie. Waardering.
