Omschrijving
RENTMEESTERSWONING. In rode baksteen opgetrokken rentmeesterswoning onder met grijze pannen gedekt afgeplat schilddak, dat het voorplein aan de ZO-hoek afsluit. De rentmeesterswoning dateert vermoedelijk uit 1786, toen het muurwerk rond het voorplein werd opgetrokken. Dit muurwerk, de rentmeesterswoning en de ten aanzien van de as van het huis symmetrisch er tegenover liggende oranjerie annex dienstwoning vormen namelijk een architectonisch ensemble. Op de Kaart van de Havezathe Bingerden door H. van Heijst uit 1791 staat het grondplan van de rentmeesterswoning aangeduid, zij het dat dit grondplan in deze tijd niet rechthoekig maar L-vormig was. Vermoedelijk dateert het huidige grondplan uit de laatste helft van de 19e eeuw, toen in de gevels van de rentmeesterswoning de huidige kozijnen met vensters met 3-ruitsindeling werden aangebracht; deze kozijnen zwenken aan de bovenzijde naar opzij en aan de zijkanten naar onderen uit.
Voorplein(west-)zijde: centraal twee schuifvensters met 3-ruitsindeling met aan weerszijden een paneeldeur. Het bovenlicht van de rechter paneeldeur en de paneeldeur zijn vanouds geblindeerd. In het bovenlicht van de linker deur is een diefijzer aangebracht. Aan de linker en rechter zijde van deze gevel twee aan voornoemde vensters identieke vensters. De gevel wordt door een kroonlijst (met simaaslijst) afgesloten, die aan de overige gevels omgaat. Linker gevel: twee vensters met 3-ruitsindeling. Description
STEWARD'S HOUSE. Steward's house constructed in red brick, under a flattened hipped roof covered with grey tiles, which closes the forecourt at the SE corner. The steward's house presumably dates from 1786, when the brickwork around the forecourt was constructed. This brickwork, the steward's house and the orangery annex service dwelling, situated opposite and symmetrically with respect to the axis of the house, form an architectural ensemble. On the Map of the Havezathe Bingerden by H. van Heijst from 1791, the ground plan of the steward's house is indicated, albeit that this ground plan at that time was not rectangular but L-shaped. Presumably the present ground plan dates from the last half of the 19th century, when the present frames with windows with 3-pane division were introduced in the facades of the steward's house; these frames swing at the top sideways and at the sides downward.
