Omschrijving
LODEN TUINVAAS TEN WESTEN VAN HET HUIS. Loden klokvormige tuinvaas met deksel op sokkel van recente datum, versierd met banden met gestileerde bladranken en met op de hals een omgaande allegorische voorstelling in reliëf met als motief onder meer een Bacchus-scene, uit het einde der 17e eeuw.
De vaas, die Willem van Nassau Zuylesteyn van de Koning Stadhouder Willem III als geschenk ontving, is wellicht door Daniel Marot ontworpen en stond oorspronkelijk met haar pendant bij de bordes-trap van het voormalige kasteel opgesteld.

Description
LEAD GARDEN VASE TO THE WEST OF THE HOUSE. Lead bell-shaped garden vase with lid on a base of recent date, decorated with bands of stylised leaf scrolls and with on the neck a circumferential allegorical representation in relief with as motif among other things a Bacchus scene, from the end of the 17th century.
The vase, which Willem van Nassau Zuylesteyn received from the King Stadhouder Willem III as a gift, was possibly designed by Daniel Marot and originally stood with its pendant at the steps of the former castle.
