Omschrijving
Van oorsprong middeleeuws PAND van twee bouwlagen met kap en mogelijk al een kelder. In de 16e of 17e eeuw uitgebreid met een achterhuis, met half ondergronds gelegen kelder, van twee bouwlagen en een kap.
De (latere) kelder onder het voorhuis heeft een houten zoldering van balken met tussengelegen troggewelfjes en dateert waarschijnlijk uit de 19e eeuw.
De kelder onder het achterhuis heeft een enkelvoudige balklaag. De bevat nog twee sleutelstukken uit de bouwtijd. Tegen de achterwand, iets links van het midden, bevinden zich de restanten van een stookplaats. In de linker zijwand bevond zich een vierlicht, waarvan de linker stijl en wellicht de bovendorpel nog aanwezig zijn. Links hiervan een bevindt zich een dichtgezette opening naar buiten. De begane grond van het voorhuis is drie balkvakken diep. Beide moerbalken hebben nog hun originele sleutelstukken (16e - 17e eeuw), waarvan er een is weggezaagd. Het middelste balkvak toont tegen de rechter bouwmuur het stookgewelf van een haardplaats op de eerste verdieping.
De begane grond van het achterhuis (de opkamer) heeft in de balklaag van moer- en kinderbinten dezelfde sleutelstukken als de kelderbalklaag. De eerste verdieping van het voorhuis heeft eveneens een balklaag van moer- en kinderbinten. De sleutelstukken zijn hier weggezaagd. Tegen de rechterwand is in het stucwerk vaag een voormalige schouw te herkennen.
De eerste verdieping van het achterhuis is bij een verbouwing in de jaren zestig van een houten zijgevel voorzien.
De over het voor- en achterhuis doorlopende kap heeft vier spanten, waarvan de twee boven het voorhuis zijn voorzien van telmerken. Deze spanten zijn van secundair verwerkt eikehout en dateren waarschijnlijk uit de 16e eeuw. De spanten boven het achterhuis zijn (nog) niet nader te dateren.
Het pand is bouwhistorisch van belang.

Description
Originally medieval building of two storeys with roof and possibly already a cellar. In the 16th or 17th century extended with a rear building, with half below-ground cellar, of two storeys and a roof.
The (later) cellar below the front building has a wooden ceiling of beams with intervening barrel vaults and probably dates from the 19th century.
The cellar below the rear building has a simple beam layer. It still contains two keys from the period of construction. Against the rear wall, slightly to the left of centre, are the remains of a fireplace. In the left side wall was a four-light opening, of which the left upright and possibly the lintel are still present. To the left of this is a blocked-up opening to the outside. The ground floor of the front building is three beam bays deep. Both principal beams still have their original keys (16th-17th century), one of which has been sawn off. The middle beam bay shows against the right party wall the fireplace vault of a hearth on the first floor.
The ground floor of the rear building (the upper room) has in the beam layer of principal and secondary beams the same keys as the cellar beam layer. The first floor of the front building likewise has a beam layer of principal and secondary beams. The keys have been sawn off here. Against the right wall a former chimney can be vaguely discerned in the plasterwork.
The first floor of the rear building was provided with a wooden side gable during an alteration in the sixties.
The roof running over both the front and rear building has four roof trusses, of which the two above the front building are provided with carpenters' marks. These trusses are of secondary worked oak and probably date from the 16th century. The trusses above the rear building are (as yet) not further dated.
The building is of building-historical importance.
