Een 18e eeuwse boerderij met bakhuis en hooiberg, gelegen aan de Kromme Rijn, van veel oudere oorsprong.
De plattegrond van deze boerderij van het T-huis type is enigszins afwijkend, doordat het woonhuis aan een zijde smaller is dan het bedrijfsgedeelte.
Het "voorname" front van vier traveeën breed, waarin duidelijk de opkamer is te herkennen, is naar de Kromme Rijn gekeerd. Het woonhuis is vrijwel gaaf, de dakbedekking is echter vervangen door een muldenpan. Het casco bestaat uit een enkelvoudige grenen balklaag en een grenen gebintenkap. Onder de opkamer bevindt zich een door een tongewelf gedekte kelder met twee kelderlichten.
De kelder vertoont steenformaten die kunnen wijzen op een mogelijk middeleeuwse voorganger van de huidige boerderij. In de achtergevel bevinden zich restanten van ouder muurwerk. Het bedrijfsgedeelte is driebeukig met ankerbalkgebinten. De koppeling van de stijlen op de poeren en met de ankerbalk wordt gevormd door een pen met toognagels. Over de toppen van de stijlen lopen de gebintplaten. Op de ankerbalk staat een normaal spant. De dakbedekking is nog van riet. De achtergevel is vrijwel gaaf, met name de deuren met gehengen en kozijnen.
Op enige afstand van de boerderij staat het bakhuis, mogelijk ook 18e eeuws, met oorspronkelijke kap en kozijnen.
Deze boerderij met bakhuis en hooiberg is van belang als vrijwel gaaf 18e eeuws voorbeeld van agrarische bebouwing en bovendien van groot belang als onderdeel van het Kromme Rijn landschap.

Description
An 18th-century farmhouse with bakehouse and hay barn, situated on the Kromme Rijn, of much older origin.
The floor plan of this farmhouse of the T-house type is somewhat irregular, in that the dwelling house is narrower on one side than the agricultural section.
The "principal" front of four bays wide, in which the principal room is clearly recognizable, faces the Kromme Rijn. The dwelling house is virtually intact, although the roof covering has been replaced with barrel tiles. The carcass consists of a simple pine beam floor and a pine roof truss structure. Beneath the principal room is a cellar covered by a barrel vault with two cellar lights.
The cellar shows brick sizes that could indicate a possible medieval predecessor of the current farmhouse. In the rear gable are remains of older masonry. The agricultural section is three-aisled with tie-beam trusses. The coupling of the posts on the piers and with the tie-beam is formed by a tenon with draw pegs. Over the tops of the posts run the roof plates. On the tie-beam stands a normal roof truss. The roof covering is still thatched. The rear gable is virtually intact, particularly the doors with hinges and frames.
At some distance from the farmhouse stands the bakehouse, possibly also 18th-century, with original roof truss structure and frames.
This farmhouse with bakehouse and hay barn is of importance as a virtually intact 18th-century example of agricultural building and moreover of great significance as part of the Kromme Rijn landscape.
