Zeventiende eeuws pand bestaande uit voorhuis van twee bouwlagen met lijstgevel met zadeldak evenwijdig aan de straat, gelegen op de hoek van de Jeruzalemstraat, waaraan een achterhuis met lijstgevel, bestaande uit twee bouwlagen met lessenaarsdak.
Het 17e eeuwse voorhuis heeft een gepleisterde lijstgevel met blokverdeling, drie vensters breed op de verdieping. De gepleisterde tuitgevel links is blind. Het voorhuis is evenals Herenstraat 44, een bescheiden 17e eeuws pand in vergelijking met de veel forsere tijdgenoten die daarna volgen.
Het achterhuis is van oorsprong vermoedelijk een zelfstandig dwarshuis geweest, gericht op de Jeruzalemstraat, van twee bouwlagen met een zadeldak, later gewijzigd in een lessenaarsdak, evenwijdig aan de Jeruzalemstraat.
De lijstgevel heeft op de begane grond slechts een deur links, op de verdieping slechts een venster rechts.
Boven de verdieping ligt een samengestelde balklaag met drie zeer ongelijke vakken; 210 cm, 250 cm en links een vak van 100 cm met een spiltrap van begane grond tot zolder. Een rijk 17e eeuws sleutelstuk is in zicht.
Op zolder bevinden zich in de tussenmuur met het voorhuis twee kaarsnissen onder keperboog.
Het pand is een beeldbepalend hoekpand, van belang voor zowel de Herenstraat als de Jeruzalemstraat, en van bouwhistorisch belang.

Description
Seventeenth-century property consisting of front house of two storeys with cornice-topped facade with gabled roof parallel to the street, situated on the corner of Jeruzalemstraat, to which is adjoined a rear house with cornice-topped facade, consisting of two storeys with lean-to roof.
The 17th-century front house has a plastered cornice-topped facade with block division, three windows wide on the upper storey. The plastered spout gable on the left is blank. The front house, like Herenstraat 44, is a modest 17th-century property compared with the much more substantial contemporaries that follow thereafter.
The rear house was originally presumably a separate cross-house, facing Jeruzalemstraat, of two storeys with a gabled roof, later modified into a lean-to roof, parallel to Jeruzalemstraat.
The cornice-topped facade has on the ground floor only a door on the left, on the upper storey only a window on the right.
Above the upper storey lies a composite beam layer with three very unequal bays; 210 cm, 250 cm and on the left a bay of 100 cm with a spiral staircase from ground floor to attic. A richly decorated 17th-century keystone is visible.
On the attic, in the party wall with the front house, are two candle niches under a herringbone arch.
The property is an image-defining corner property, of importance for both Herenstraat and Jeruzalemstraat, and of architectural-historical importance.
