Omschrijving
Eenvoudig vroeg 19e eeuws huis bestaande uit twee bouwlagen, een kelder en mansardekap met de nok loodrecht op de straat. Achter het huis staat een los achterhuis.
Het huis is in oorsprong ouder dan 19e eeuws. Het was een huis met aan beide zijden een steegje naar de achtergelegen bebouwing. In het begin van de 19e eeuw werd voor het huis, samen met het rechter buurpand, een nieuwe gevel gebouwd. In het midden was een poortje voor een steeg.
Het rechter deel van de gevel (Nr. 3) is geheel gaaf en reeds geplaatst op de Rijksmonumentenlijst. Het linker deel, van het huis Breedstraat 5/7, is van een nieuwe winkelpui voorzien.
Het huis is van belang als onderdeel van een volledig symmetrisch ensemble, waarvan de rechterhelft reeds is beschermd.

Description
Simple early 19th-century house consisting of two storeys, a cellar and mansard roof with the ridge perpendicular to the street. Behind the house stands a separate rear building.
The house is originally older than 19th-century. It was a house with a lane on both sides leading to the buildings at the rear. In the early 19th century, a new facade was built for the house, together with the right adjoining property. In the middle was a gateway for a lane.
The right part of the facade (No. 3) is entirely intact and has already been placed on the National Monuments Register. The left part, of the property Breedstraat 5/7, has been provided with a new shop front.
The house is of importance as part of a completely symmetrical ensemble, of which the right half is already protected.
