Omschrijving complexonderdeel 1
In basilicale vorm met meerdere bouwlagen onder samenstel van schild- en zadeldaken opgetrokken HOOFDGEBOUW van Stoop's Bad, bestaande uit voorgebouw, voormalige zwembadhal en twee voormalige badvleugels ter weerszijden. In de jaren negentig van de twintigste eeuw is dit hoofdgebouw omgebouwd tot appartementen.
Het langgerekte voorgebouw bestaat uit een naar voren uitgebouwde middenvleugel met monumentale ingangspartij, twee teruggerooide tussenleden en twee badvleugels. Bij de aansluiting met de middenvleugel twee kwartronde uitbouwen die oorspronkelijk diende als buffet en winkel. Het centrale deel van de middenvleugel bevat de teruggerooide ingangspartij met vier gebeeldhouwde natuurstenen, deels betonnen en gestucte pijlers - in oorsprong gemarkeerd door het deels vergulde siersmeedwerk met opschrift "anno - bad- en zweminrichting - 1924 -" en wordt bekroond door een driehoekig fronton met op klassieke voorbeelden geïnspireerde reliëfs van zwemmende vissen, badende figuren en personificaties van waterbronnen. De meervoudig samengestelde tussenleden hebben een lage voorbouw met een van borstwering voorzien dakterras, waarbij in oorsprong links het opschrift "theeschenkerij" en rechts het opschrift "barbier - kapper" in deels verguld smeedijzer was aangebracht. De zeven traveeën lange dwarsvleugels worden aan de voorzijde afgesloten door driehoekige frontons met keperboogvormig topvenster en natuurstenen reliëfs met plantaardige motieven, de Hollandse leeuw en het gemeentewapen; bij de tweede travee hebben zij vijfzijdige uitbouwen.
De eigenlijke voormalige zwembadhal steekt boven de voor- en zijvleugels uit en bevat sinds de verbouwing tot appartementen vijf bouwlagen. Aan de door een opengewerkte ventilatietoren bekroonde achterzijde sluit op basis van een halve achtkant een absidiale uitbouw aan. In de hoeken twee hoog oprijzende, zich verjongende schoorstenen. Voor het overige heeft het hoofdgebouw uitwendig dezelfde kenmerken als beschreven bij de complexomschrijving.
Inwendig resteren van de oorspronkelijke aankleding nog ondermeer granitovloeren, wandtegels en de achtzijdige drinkfontein.

Description of complex component 1
MAIN BUILDING of Stoop's Bad, constructed in basilical form with multiple storeys under an assembly of hipped and gabled roofs, consisting of a front wing, former swimming pool hall and two former bathing wings on either side. In the 1990s this main building was converted into apartments.
The elongated front wing consists of a projecting central wing with monumental entrance section, two set-back intermediate sections and two bathing wings. At the junction with the central wing two quarter-round projections which originally served as a buffet and shop. The central section of the central wing contains the set-back entrance section with four carved natural stone, partly concrete and stuccoed pillars - originally marked by the partly gilded ornamental ironwork with the inscription "anno - bad- and swimming establishment - 1924 -" and is crowned by a triangular pediment with reliefs inspired by classical examples depicting swimming fish, bathing figures and personifications of water sources. The multiply composed intermediate sections have a low front structure with a roof terrace provided with a parapet, where originally to the left was the inscription "tea pavilion" and to the right the inscription "barber - hairdresser" in partly gilded wrought iron. The seven-bay-long transverse wings are closed at the front by triangular pediments with herringbone-arch-shaped top window and natural stone reliefs with plant motifs, the Dutch lion and the municipal coat of arms; at the second bay they have pentagonal projections.
The actual former swimming pool hall projects above the front and side wings and has contained five storeys since the conversion to apartments. On the rear side, crowned by an open-worked ventilation tower, an apsidal projection adjoins on the basis of a half octagon. In the corners two high rising, tapering chimneys. Otherwise the main building has externally the same characteristics as described in the complex description.
Internally, surviving elements of the original furnishing include among others granite floors, wall tiles and the octagonal drinking fountain.
