HYDRAULISCHE POMP.
In kleine bakstenen met tongewelf overwelfde kelder onder het voorplein gesitueerde ijzeren mechanische waterpomp, die de slotgracht en fontein van water voorziet. Deze zogenaamde Belier Hydraulique Bollee werd vervaardigd en in 1908 geleverd door de firma Andre Leboeuf te Le Mans (Frankrijk) en werd enkele jaren geleden door het Etablissement Pierre Mengin (L'Hydro Pompe) te Montargis (Frankrijk) met de originele onderdelen gerestaureerd. De pomp wordt van water voorzien door een zijarm van de Voer en pompt het water naar een op de zolder van de ZW-vleugel van het bouwhuis geplaatst reservoir. Het reservoir, waarvan de hoge ligging de nodige stuwkracht oplevert, is met buizen met de fontein in het park verbonden. Description
HYDRAULIC PUMP.
Iron mechanical water pump situated in a small brick barrel-vaulted cellar beneath the front courtyard, which supplies water to the castle moat and fountain. This so-called Belier Hydraulique Bollee was manufactured and delivered in 1908 by the firm Andre Leboeuf at Le Mans (France) and was restored several years ago by the Etablissement Pierre Mengin (L'Hydro Pompe) at Montargis (France) with original parts. The pump is supplied with water by a side branch of the Voer and pumps the water to a reservoir placed on the attic of the SW wing of the castle building. The reservoir, whose high position provides the necessary pressure, is connected by pipes to the fountain in the park. The pump has an outlet in the barrel-vaulted arm on the SE side of the castle moat. Furthermore several pipes with tap points run from the pump through the garden.
