In sobere 'middeleeuwse' trant in 1907 uitgevoerde KOETSIERSWONING met hoektoren en voormalige stallen, behorend bij het kasteel- museum Sypesteyn. Het in het midden en aan de korte NO-zijde van een trapgevel voorziene pand is met een bouwlaag, kapverdieping en vliering opgetrokken in baksteen op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder pannen zadeldak met dakkapellen aan de straatzijde; op de Z- hoek een uitgebouwde ronde, bovenaan achtzijdige toren met twee bouwlagen onder zeszijdige spits met leien in rijndekking en sierlijk gesmede ijzeren bekroning. De gevels bevatten afwisselend zes- en achtruitsvensters, soms met kruiskozijn, doch alle met geel/rode luiken en strekbogen.
De NO-trapgevel bevat verder de ingangspartij in het midden, sierankers en twee hardstenen banden; de ingangspartij bestaat uit een gesneden paneeldeur met gebeeldhouwde natuurstenen omlijsting met Ionische halfzuilen, hoofdgestel met voluten en ingezwenkt gebogen fronton; voor de ingang twee achtzijdige hardstenen stoeppalen.
De lange NW-gevel bevat verder een tuitvormige topgevel met vlechtingen, rechts daarvan een achteringang met verdeeld bovenlicht, een stel dubbel staldeuren met verdeelde bovenlichten en een stel inrijdeuren, alsmede smalle sierankers.
De korte ZW-gevel heeft voorts sierankers en vlechtingen in de tuitvormige topgevel.
Koetsierswoning met koetshuis van architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde en van belang als onderdeel van het Sypesteyn-complex.

Description
Coach house executed in sober 'medieval' style in 1907 with corner tower and former stables, belonging to the castle-museum Sypesteyn. The building, provided in the middle and on the short NE side with a stepped gable, is constructed with one storey, roof space and attic in brick on a rectangular plan under tiled gabled roof with roof dormers on the street side; on the S corner an extended round tower, octagonal at the top, with two storeys under hexagonal spire with slates in ridge tiling and ornately wrought iron cresting. The facades contain alternately six- and eight-pane windows, sometimes with cross windows, but all with yellow/red shutters and splayed arches.
The NE stepped gable further contains the entrance feature in the middle, ornamental wall anchors and two hard stone bands; the entrance feature consists of a carved panel door with sculptured natural stone surround with Ionic half-columns, entablature with volutes and curved pediment; in front of the entrance two octagonal hard stone bollards.
The long NW facade further contains a spout-gable-shaped gable with wattle-work, to the right of it a rear entrance with divided fanlight, a pair of double stable doors with divided fanlights and a pair of carriage doors, as well as narrow ornamental wall anchors.
The short SW facade has moreover ornamental wall anchors and wattle-work in the spout-gable-shaped gable.
Coach house with carriage house of architectural and cultural-historical value and of importance as a component of the Sypesteyn complex.
