In het oosten van het park gelegen bakstenen RETRANCHEMENTEN-MUUR uit ca. 1700, die waarschijnlijk door Pieter de la Court van der Voort aan de noordwestzijde van de tegenwoordig grotendeels verdwenen boomgaard werd gebouwd.
De zogeheten retranchementen-muur, die een zeldzame variant is van het type slangemuur, heeft geen golvend verloop, maar bestaat uit een muur van rechte terugliggende en vooruitspringende vlakken, die onder schuine hoek met elkaar zijn verbonden. Aan de zuidwestzijde van de muur, die als perzikkenmuur dienst deed, een poort met getoogde bovenzijde. De noordoostzijde van de muur eindigt in een onder een rechte hoek vooruitspringend muurvlak, gebouwd tot kering van de wind. Muur gedeeltelijk nog gedekt met hardstenen platen en bepleisterde rollaag.

Description
Located in the east of the park a brick RETRENCHED WALL from around 1700, which was probably built by Pieter de la Court van der Voort on the northwest side of the nowadays largely disappeared orchard.
The so-called retrenched wall, which is a rare variant of the serpentine wall type, does not have a winding course, but consists of a wall of straight recessed and projecting planes, which are connected with each other at an oblique angle. On the southwest side of the wall, which served as a peach wall, a gate with arched top. The northeast side of the wall ends in a wall plane projecting at a right angle, built to check the wind. Wall partly still covered with hard stone plates and plastered rolled edge.
