The register's description

The ORANGERY is located to the southwest of the main building, parallel to and west of the drive, just north of the deer enclosure. Between the orangery and the drive runs a narrow and straight brick path leading to the entrance. Furthermore, the orangery is situated roughly between two orchards, one to the west and one to the east. The orangery is a rectangular brick building with a hipped roof covered with red slates. This 19th-century brick building has a rectangular floor plan. A glazed roof light has been installed on the front facade. Originally there were three roof lights, but in the 1950s two roof lights were removed. The front facade was divided with arches until the 1950s. This facade faces east and is divided into three sections by means of brick pilasters. The middle and narrowest bay contains two French doors with fanlights, while the side bays are identically arranged. Above the fanlights and interrupted only by the brick pilasters, across the entire facade width in a recessed field, above which a simple (and continuous) gutter moulding closes off the facade. The floor in the orangery consists of square black-and-white tiles which together form a continuous meander motif in the shape of a rectangle. The tiles laid within this rectangle are octagonal and consist of alternating bands of grey and black tiles with a yellow flower motif. On the inside, the rear wall is almost completely covered with pieces of tree bark; thus an irregularly natural effect is achieved. The left and right side facades are arranged by a recessed field, in which a broad window is installed. This broad window is divided into four sections by three wooden, white-painted small columns, while a thin glazing bar division catches small panes. The window is provided with roller blinds at the top and bottom. The recessed facade field is closed by a dentil course and flanked by brick corner pilasters, which have a diamond-shaped motif at the top. The blind rear facade is divided into two equal fields by the slightly projecting chimney which, like the side facades, are recessed and closed by a wooden gutter moulding. In each field a small half-round stable window is left open. Corner pilasters close the rear facade on either side. In the middle of the rear facade, a mortar joint in the form of a gabled roof is visible with its highest point on the chimney. Furthermore, five setting-holes for beams are still visible.
