Omschrijving
TWEE BRUGLEUNINGEN MET KETTINGEN. Twee 19e-eeuwse over een dwarssloot aan de westzijde van en loodrecht op de as van het 'grand canal' geplaatste gietijzeren brugleuningen, bestaande uit twee maal vier kandelabervormige spijlen met pijlpuntvormige bekroning, waartussen boogsgewijs een ketting van gesmede sierschakels. De leuningen zwenken naar het oosten iets uit. De ten opzichte van het 'grand canal' gesitueerde tweede spijl van de leuningen is iets groter dan de overige spijlen; hierdoor lijken de leuningen vanuit de oostzijde van het hoofdgebouw en vanuit de hieraan grenzende tuin langer dan ze in werkelijkheid zijn. De leuningen waren oorspronkelijk geplaatst op een gebogen plankier.

Description
TWO BRIDGE RAILINGS WITH CHAINS. Two 19th-century cast-iron bridge railings placed over a cross-ditch on the west side of and perpendicular to the axis of the 'grand canal', consisting of two sets of four candelabrum-shaped spars with arrow-pointed crowning, between which an arched chain of wrought ornamental links. The railings angle slightly towards the east. The second spar of the railings, positioned in relation to the 'grand canal', is slightly larger than the other spars; as a result the railings appear longer from the east side of the main building and from the adjacent garden than they actually are. The railings were originally placed on a curved plank.
