Omschrijving
THEEHUIS. In de ZW-hoek van de historische tuin- en parkaanleg op een hoge berg (de zogenaamde Modderberg) gelegen zes-zijdig houten 19e-eeuws door zes houten pijlers gestut prieel met sterk overhellend zes-zijdig licht gewelfde rieten kap, dat door een piron wordt bekroond. Het dakoverstek wordt gestut door zes ronde zuilen met entasis, vormende aldus een omgaande galerij, met laag houten hek met gezwenkte balusters. In elk van de gevelvlakken van het prieel, dat uitzicht biedt op de Hertenkamp en dat vermoedelijk als theehuis werd gebruikt, een venster met 6-ruitsindeling. Aan de noordoostzijde van het prieel een enkele draaideur met venster met 6-ruitsindeling. Het prieel is toegankelijk via een houten trap met hekwerk met gezwenkte balusters en is te bereiken via een zich langs de flanken van de kegelvormige berg omlopend pad.

Description
TEA HOUSE. Located in the SW corner of the historic garden and park layout on a high hillock (the so-called Modderberg) a six-sided wooden 19th-century pavilion supported by six wooden pillars with a steeply overhanging six-sided lightly arched thatched roof, crowned by a weathervane. The roof overhang is supported by six round columns with entasis, thus forming a surrounding gallery, with low wooden rail with curved balusters. In each of the gable surfaces of the pavilion, which offers views over the Hertenkamp and which presumably was used as a tea house, a window with 6-pane glazing. On the north-east side of the pavilion a single hinged door with window with 6-pane glazing. The pavilion is accessible via a wooden stair with railing with curved balusters and can be reached via a path running along the flanks of the conical hillock.
