Omschrijving
IJSKELDER. In een heuvel tussen het koetshuis en de vijver in landschapsstijl een gaaf bewaarde ijskelder, bestaande uit een met koepelgewelf overdekte ruimte, voorafgegaan door een rechttoelopend voorportaal.
Oorspronkelijk werd het ijs via een cilindervormige gemetselde bepleisterde opening boven op de heuvel loodrecht op het koepelgewelf in de kelder geworpen. Naderhand is op de cilindervormige opening een aan de zijden opengewerkte metalen rondbouw met puntvormig toelopend dak geplaatst en doet de opening dienst als ontluchtingskanaal. De aan de noordzijde van de genoemde heuvel gesitueerde ingangspartij bestaat uit een bakstenen gevel (met houten deur) met overhoeks geplaatste steunberen met versnijdingen. Elke versnijding is afgedekt met een schuin aflopende laag van bakstenen, die bepleisterd is. De gevel wordt aan zijn top beëindigd door een bepleisterde bakstenen lijst, die op de hoeken horizontaal gericht is en naar het midden schuin oploopt in een tuitstuk.
In de noordelijke steunbeer is een natuurstenen plaat gemetseld met de inscriptie: "L.V. 8 dec. 1894".

Description
ICE HOUSE. In a mound between the coach house and the landscape pond a well-preserved ice house, consisting of a space covered with a barrel vault, preceded by a straight entrance vestibule.
Originally the ice was thrown vertically through a cylindrical rendered brickwork opening on top of the mound onto the barrel vault into the cellar. Subsequently, on the cylindrical opening an openwork metal rotunda with pointed tapering roof was placed and the opening serves as a ventilation duct. The entrance feature situated on the north side of the said mound consists of a brick facade (with wooden door) with diagonally placed buttresses with chamfers. Each chamfer is covered with a sloping layer of bricks, which is rendered. The gable is terminated at its top by a rendered brick string course, which is directed horizontally at the corners and slopes obliquely towards the centre in a spout feature.
In the northern buttress a natural stone plaque is set with the inscription: "L.V. 8 dec. 1894".
