Omschrijving
VECHTSTOEP MET SIERVAZEN OP SOKKELS uit de 18e eeuw, bestaande uit een voluutvormig uitzwenkende bakstenen keermuur met centraal gelegen rechte aanleg-zijde, aan de Vecht evenwijdig aan de ingangspartij van het huis gesitueerd. Aan de noord en zuid gelegen (uit-)einden een bakstenen sokkel met hardstenen Lodewijk XV console waarop een effen marmeren kelkvormige vaas in late Marot-stijl, uit ca. 1750. Aan de Vechtzijde wordt de stoep door een 19e-eeuws smeedijzeren balustrade van stijlen en regels begrensd, waarvan het verloop de uitzwenkende belijning van de stoep volgt. Aan de hoeken van de balustrade een iets verzwaarde stijl met knopvormige bekroning. Centraal in de balustrade een dubbel draaihek met links bovenaan in verguld ijzer de letters STERRE en rechts SCHANS.

Description
VECHT TERRACE WITH ORNAMENTAL VASES ON PLINTHS from the 18th century, consisting of a scroll-shaped projecting brick retaining wall with centrally located straight construction-side, situated on the Vecht parallel to the entrance section of the house. At the north and south located (out-)ends a brick plinth with Hardstone Louis XV console upon which a plain marble chalice-shaped vase in late Marot style, from ca. 1750. On the Vecht side the terrace is bounded by a 19th-century wrought-iron balustrade of stiles and rails, of which the run follows the projecting outline of the terrace. At the corners of the balustrade a slightly heavier stile with knob-shaped crowning. Centrally in the balustrade a double revolving gate with on the top left in gilded iron the letters STERRE and on the right SCHANS.
