Omschrijving
Op de hoek van de Waterstraat gelegen, laat-gotisch woonhuis van twee verdiepingen met hoog zadeldak, dat aan voor- en achterzijde wordt afgesloten door trapgevels. Op de hoek een groot pothuis. De voorgevel heeft een houten onderpui, waarboven drie segmentvormige ontlastingsboogjes. Het daarboven gelegen deel van de gevel wordt door drie natuurstenen waterlijsten horizontaal geleed. De vensters van de tweede verdieping zijn gevat in korfboognissen: die van de zolderverdiepingen in spitsboognissen. Het venster van de laagste zolderverdieping wordt geflankeerd door segmentnissen. Vlak afgedekte trappen. De vensters van de door twee bakstenen waterlijsten gedeelde zijgevel zijn alle gevat binnen korfboognissen. De achtertrapgevel heeft gotische ezelsrugafdekkingen. Description
Located on the corner of the Waterstraat, late-Gothic dwelling house of two storeys with high gabled roof, which is closed on front and rear by stepped gables. On the corner a large storage shed. The front facade has a wooden shop front, above which three segmental relief arches. The part of the facade above is divided horizontally by three natural stone drip mouldings. The windows of the second storey are set within basket-handle arch openings: those of the attic storeys within pointed arch openings. The window of the lowest attic storey is flanked by segmental niches. Flat-topped roof trusses. The windows of the side facade, divided by two brick drip mouldings, are all set within basket-handle arch openings. The rear stepped gable has Gothic saddle-back cappings. The wooden shop front, the wooden cross windows with shutters, the side facade and the storage shed were entirely renewed in a major restoration which the building underwent in 1904.
