Omschrijving
Hervormde kerk.
Het koor van de Hervormde kerk die in 1865 vernieuwd is, is in de kern nog Romaans. Bij de vernieuwing is het koor ommetseld en gesloten als grafkelder voor de familie van Welderen Rengers.
Als afsluiting dient een groot epitaaf door D.M. van Burmania en H.L. van Juckema van zandsteen als marmer geschilderd.
Naast het epitaaf twee goed gesneden rouwkassen, eind achttiende eeuw. Mechanisch torenuurwerk S. Rodenburg, Sneek, 1865, sinds 1981 voorzien van elektrische opwinding.
Het omringende hekwerk dateert uit 1867.

Description
Reformed church.
The choir of the Reformed church which was renovated in 1865 is still Romanesque in its core. During the renovation the choir was re-bricked and closed as a burial vault for the family of van Welderen Rengers.
As a closure a large epitaph by D.M. van Burmania and H.L. van Juckema of sandstone painted as marble serves.
Besides the epitaph two well-carved mourning urns, late eighteenth century. Mechanical tower clock S. Rodenburg, Sneek, 1865, provided with electrical winding since 1981.
The surrounding iron railings date from 1867.
