TWEE SIERVAZEN TER WEERSZIJDEN VAN BORDES VOOR INGANGSPARTIJ VAN HET HUIS. Twee zandstenen siervazen met vermoedelijk niet bijpassende deksels met mythologische voorstellingen in reliëf, op rechthoekige hardstenen sokkels, manshoog, in Marot-stijl, eind 17e eeuw, ter weerszijden van het bordes aan de ingangspartij van het huis, in 1914 teruggevonden in een sloot, maar volgens een gezicht van Nieuwerhoek uit ca. 1700 door Ludolf Backhuysen stonden de vazen met sokkels vanouds op deze plaats.

Description
TWO ORNAMENTAL VASES ON EITHER SIDE OF THE STEPS AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE HOUSE. Two sandstone ornamental vases, presumably with non-matching lids, with mythological representations in relief, on rectangular stone plinths, man-high, in Marot style, late 17th century, on either side of the steps at the entrance of the house, rediscovered in 1914 in a ditch, but according to a view of Nieuwerhoek from ca. 1700 by Ludolf Backhuysen the vases with plinths stood in this location from antiquity.
