Omschrijving
Nederlands Hervormde Kerk. Laat gotische, driebeukige pseudo-basiliek. Koormuur tussen hoogkoor en omgang. De kerk is overdekt door houten tongewelven met trekbalken; in de zijbeuken en omgang halve tongewelven eveneens met trekbalken. Aan de zuidzijde een kapel, bestaande uit twee verdiepingen met ster- en netgewelven. Tegen het koor aan de noordzijde een sacristie met kruisribgewelven. Tot de inventaris behoren: preekstoel, doophek en koorhek, het laatste met Korinthische pilasters, omstreeks 1680. Koperen lezenaar (1717) en doopbekkenhouder aan de preekstoel. In het koor een eenvoudige achttiende eeuwse preekstoel. In de zuiderzijbeuk zes eenvoudige gestoelten, achttiende eeuw. Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Bovenwerk en vrij Pedaal, in 1767 gemaakt door J.H.H. Batz. In 1972 door de firma Van Vulpen gerestaureerd. Rijk versierde orgelkas met houtsculptuur en stucwerk, 1768. In de zuiderkooromgang in een nis met ijzeren hek grafmonument (1717) voor Kapitein ter Zee Schaap. Enkele achttiende eeuwse grafzerken. Kist met opschrift: "Dieakenskist 1657".

Description
Dutch Reformed Church. Late Gothic three-aisled pseudo-basilica. Choir wall between high choir and ambulatory. The church is covered by wooden barrel vaults with tie beams; in the side aisles and ambulatory half barrel vaults likewise with tie beams. On the south side a chapel consisting of two storeys with star and net vaults. Against the choir on the north side a sacristy with cross-rib vaults. The inventory includes: pulpit, baptismal font screen and choir screen, the latter with Corinthian pilasters, circa 1680. Copper lectern (1717) and font holder at the pulpit. In the choir a simple eighteenth-century pulpit. In the south side aisle six simple choir stalls, eighteenth century. Organ with Great Work, Upper Work and free Pedal, made in 1767 by J.H.H. Batz. Restored in 1972 by the firm Van Vulpen. Richly decorated organ case with wood sculpture and stucco work, 1768. In the south choir ambulatory in a niche with iron grating a funerary monument (1717) for Captain at Sea Schaap. Some eighteenth-century grave slabs. Chest with inscription: "Dieakenskist 1657".
