Het fort "Penserdijk". FORT, gebouwd in 1885 als onderdeel van de stelling "Monden Maas en Haringvliet", bestaande uit een langgerekte omwalling met steile taluds en omringd door een brede gracht. Bomvrij gebouw in het midden van de omwalling. Contre-escarpe te rechterzijde van het fort met steil binnentalud en glacis. Dit fort behoort ten dele tot de gemeente Oost-Vooren en ten dele tot de gemeente Hellevoetsluis.

Description
The fort "Penserdijk". FORT, built in 1885 as part of the fortification line "Monden Maas en Haringvliet", consisting of an elongated rampart with steep slopes and surrounded by a wide moat. Bomb-proof building in the middle of the rampart. Counter-scarp on the right side of the fort with steep interior slope and glacis. This fort belongs partly to the municipality of Oost-Vooren and partly to the municipality of Hellevoetsluis.
