Omschrijving
Herv. kerk. Vrij grote gotische kerk. Mooi interieur met preekstoel, doophek met koperen boog en eiken lezenaar, doophekkenhouder en kaarsenarm. Orgelkas op galerij met wapen Aylva. Ca. 1660 bouwden Arnold en Tobias Bader een orgel met Hoofdwerk en Rugwerk. In de hoofdkas maakte L. van Dam en Zonen in 1864 een geheel nieuw instrument met twee klavieren. Een groot deel van het pijpwerk van Bader bevindt zich thans in het Van Dam-orgel van de Gereformeerde Kerk Vrijgemaakt te Harlingen. Overhuifde rijkgesneden bank, eenvoudige banken met pilasters, avondmaalstafel, zes psalmborden en een gedenkbord. Zerken deels onder houten vloer waarvan één door Pieter Dircks 1599, één 1589, één 17e eeuwse en één uit 1719. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, 1920, is buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
Ref. church. Fairly large Gothic church. Fine interior with pulpit, baptism gate with copper arch and oak lectern, baptism gate holder and candle arm. Organ case on gallery with coat of arms Aylva. Around 1660 Arnold and Tobias Bader built an organ with Hauptwerk and Rückwerk. In the main case L. van Dam and Sons made an entirely new instrument with two keyboards in 1864. A large part of the pipework of Bader is now in the Van Dam organ of the Reformed Church Vrijgemaakt at Harlingen. Canopied richly carved bench, simple benches with pilasters, communion table, six psalm boards and a commemorative board. Tombstones partly under wooden floor of which one by Pieter Dircks 1599, one 1589, one 17th-century and one from 1719. Mechanical church clock, 1920, has been put out of service.
